Skin Hunger || Fome de Pele

A video performance conceived during the COVID Pandemic lockdown (created between London/Brazil) which was selected for the funding titled “Arts as a Breather” by Itaú Bank, Brazil.
 
Within a time where the lack of physical contact increases due to the digitalization of life, music was used as the primary touch (once the sound wave penetrates the skin before the hearing) in an attempt to research bodily touch during isolation. (London, 2020)
 
The performance also wants to reflect on how politics can affect the way we perceive touch.
