Reflective R&D led by Naomi Welford

Three movement artists with strong improvisation practice and experience working in community settings, especially care homes were selected for the R&D funded by @aceagrams Developing Your Creative Practice Grant.
​
This was towards the development of a ‘toolbox’ of ideas to work within dance, health, and community settings.
​
We spent three days immersed in joy, playfulness, and curiosity. Myself alongside Julia Pond @juliapond_ and Emily Jenkins @emilyjanejenkins exploring scores that invite us to connect and move together with a deep awareness of ourselves and the space around us.
